She has arrived.

Tatum Blair Reaves was born by C-section on October 23, 2009 @ 1:33pm. 6 lbs. 13 oz. 18 3/4 inches. We are at moms house for now until we are able to move into our home in 1 week. I am recovering well with the help of my wonderful husband and fabulous parents. They are such a big help with both the children and myself. I will post new pictures and blog more when I have time. I just found time to post this.

Change in plans

Well, I came to Montgomery today for my weekly check-up and to our surprise Tatum has decided to turn breech. So I am staying here and going to check into the hospital tomorrow morning at 10:00am and the doctor is going to give try an external version. This means that he is going to let me have an epidural and try and move her back into position. If this works then we should have a baby tomorrow afternoon/evening and if this does not work then I will have to have a c-section. I am needing everyones prayers for her to turn back into the right position so that we can avoid surgery. My doctor thinks that there is a good chance that it will work but either way tomorrow Tatum will be here.

1 1/2 centimeters

Well I went for my 36 week check up and found out that I was dilated. So good news is she should be coming this month, but who knows if it is days or weeks. I am just praying that when she does arrive she will be healthy. On another note, I am working 2 more days and then taking off for at least 8-9 weeks. I plan on coming back the week after Christmas. I hope we are able to accomplish this since I am only paid for 6 weeks of leave but can take up to 12 weeks. Needless to say I have been stashing extra money into my savings acccount so I can stay home with Tatum and Logan and not worry about paying the bills.
Well we still haven't found a house yet and we have to be out of ours by the 31st. So we will see where we go from here. Not quite sure, but we are working on plans. My parents and Lee's parents are going to work on getting us packed over the long weekend since Lee and dad have Monday off. Stressful times yet again, but I know that we just need to be patient and the Lord will take care of everything. Hope everyone is having a good week.

4 1/2 weeks to go

Well, I still haven't quited figured out how decorate my page. I am so going to get someone to come over and help me in the next few weeks while I am on maternity leave. I am 35.5 weeks pregnant and am getting anxious. I can't wait to see Tatum and hold her. Logan has been looking at Katies blog with me and seeing pictures of baby Sylvie and keeps saying "baby" but it comes out as "baybay". I asked him if he wanted a baby and he said yes, so I think he will like it for a few hours but then will want the baby to go away. It will take some adjusting for him, I just hope that it will go smoothly when I am home with the 2 of them be myself. So work is getting harder every day and I am looking forward to a much needed break. We haven't had a vacation since March when we went to snow skiing. The house hunting is going on and we are having such a hard time, but I am at the point where I just don't care just tell me where I have to live until I can build. Luckily we aren't closing on our house until the end of October and then have 30 days to be out. This is going to help us out so much! I have Logans new pictures to post as soon as I figure it out. They are FABULOUS!!!

Change in plans

Well, where do I start? We have been busy with work, Logan and our house. When I first found out that I was pregnant, I knew that we weren't going to last in our home much longer. So the first of August, my sister listed it "For Sale" and so our new journey began. I have been having to keep my house spotless and let me tell you it is such a chore with a 19 month old and being 30 weeks prego. But we have great news, someone has made an offer! YEAH!! We showed it 4 times in 3 weeks and it is going to sell(as long as the contract looks good) This is such a great thing due to the fact that I need more space with 2 little ones and Zoe. Now the sad part, I have loved our house so much and have so many great memories from the last 3 1/2 years. Also, we have no clue where we are going to live and Tatum is suppose to make her big entrance in less than 10 weeks. I really want to be settled with a cute nursery when we bring her home. And who knows, if she is anything like her brother she might decide to come a few weeks ahead of schedule. It is going to continue to be a roller coaster over the next 2 months.
SO....Let the house shopping begin.

Logan 18 mo. visit

We had Logans 18 month checkup with Dr. E yesterday and everything seemed to go good. We were supposed to have had it last week, but had to reschedule due to funeral service for Is. According to the growth chart at the doctors office we are a little under on height, even more under on weight, and have a "huge" head. Go figure. I guess thats why he can still wear 12 month clothes but sometimes his head just want fit through. He did have to get 4 shots and started crying for the first time, before the shots even began. It looks like he is going to take after me and have a phobia of needles. I was hoping he would be like his daddy and not mind them. ( I do have to say that with this pregnancy it is getting a little better with the needles, I now can go to have blood drawn and not have to have someone hold my hand. But I still have to make the phlebotomist talk to me to distract me. I am working on it though.) Dr. E said Logan was doing good and make sure that when he points and wants something that I say what the object is before giving it to him. This will hopefully help him to talk more. I know my child not talking, that is impossible since I talk to so much. But he does baby talk all the time and can say like 10-15 words, he understands even more phrases but chooses not to speak. Who knows?! All in all the appointment was good.

It seems that everyone has a blog and facebook. So this morning after reading all of our friends updated blogs, I dared to create one for our ever growing family. I hope to be able to post at least weekly, but we all know that things are never as we plan.
Logan is now 18 months old and I will be 25 weeks pregnant tomorrow. YAY!! It has been a long and hot summer so far and a few more months to go. I am going to work on uploading pictures of our family this weekend. I'm not that good at these things, so it might be a while.

Much Love!
